Interesting article about the GED that was posted on our local website. http://news.deltanewsweb.com/news/2013/01/25/the-g-e-d-test-is-changing-in-2014/
The Teamster and Electrical Unions are looking for applicants for their apprenticeship opportunities. You can view more information here:

The high school is off and going again! Students still have till Monday to drop and add classes if they wish. Remember to keep in mind a few things when dropping classes:
1. Are you dropping a Tech Prep class and is it worth it? You'd be losing the opportunity to earn 3 college credits by not taking the class for the whole year.
2. Are you dropping an honors class because you want an easy schedule? Not a good idea AT ALL!!
Also- Those students who have incomplete grades from second semester have ten days to get those taken care of. See me if you have concerns.
As we get further into the school year, and having less and less time in my actual office, I decided to use this platform to make announcement, interact with students and parents, and share important information with everyone. There is no promises that I will update this page on a daily basis, but I will definitely try to maintain this website to the best I can.
Please do take advantage of this virtual office. I look forward to hearing from you :)
